Changing Links in Canvas

Overview

Many Canvas course sites have links to Tufts Library resources. EZproxy links are most likely to be found in Pages and the Syllabus. Other places in Canvas that might contain EZproxy links include:

  • Modules, including external URL items
  • Discussions
  • Text, Word, and PowerPoint files in Files
  • Assignment instructions
  • Quiz instructions
We encourage you to start reviewing your course material early and update any EZproxy links to OpenAthens-compatible links. To streamline this process, use our, you can use our EZproxy Link Transformation Tool to efficiently migrate your links.

Reading Lists in Canvas

You don't need to worry about updating links in Canvas reading lists. These lists are generated directly from our library system, and the links will be updated automatically for you.

Health Sciences and Vet Instructors

To help you find EZproxy links and content, you can use iSEEK, a tool for searching content in Canvas.

  1. Using the iSEEK search field, do a search for 'ezproxy'
  2. Filter your results uing the instructor filter
  3. Open the content for editing, make your changes and be sure to save
