This guide is here to help you with your transition from EZproxy to OpenAthens: allowing you to seamlessly continue accessing Tufts Libraries resources.

Important Dates to Remember

Tufts Libraries will retire EZproxy on January 7, 2026. Please do not create any new EZproxy links.

Links to Resources

As part of the transition to OpenAthens, researchers will need to manually update EZproxy links in:

• Canvas syllabi and course pages
• Course webpages
• Citation managers (like EndNote and Zotero)
• Personal bookmarks in browsers
